Erotic Literature. Fiction. Romance. Body Contact is the second of a three-part erotic series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cathryn Fox. Asking pro football player Jack Rider to teach me everything he knows about sex might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I'm not so sure I can handle a guy like him. I thought he'd just straight up do me, ridding me of my pesky virginity sooner rather than later. But no, he had his own ideas about bringing me up to speed on sex. His two weeks of slow seduction might just be the death of me, but since he's the one in charge, I have to play the game his way. Not that I'm not enjoying it. I am. Who wouldn't, right? I guess I just can't help but wonder how I'll ever let another man touch me after him. Contains mature themes.… (altro)

The fireworks become missiles in the next phase of Danielle and Jack's experiment. Body Contact brings the temptation that is Cathryn Fox's signature, but she digs deeper into the vulnerabilities of two people afraid to open up and expose weaknesses . Danielle, has not lead an easy life and knows the pain of repeated rejection. Jack is afraid, that without his career he has nothing to offer. It's easy to forget that a sexy story, can be as compelling as a tearjerker. The appeal of any read is based on how a reader reacts to the words on the page. For me Body Contact scored a gold. ( )

Body Contact picks up right were Hands On ends and takes you for a sweet, sexy wild ride as Jack Rider and Danielle Lang become even more acquainted with one another. What started off as a two week education, now has Jack questioning the feelings that he has for Danielle. Not only does he want to help her with her task at hand, but he wants to be the one to give her all her firsts. Something about her draws him in and he finds her so hard to resist. What should be a two week fling is developing into something much more.

Jack Rider has his football career to get back to, but Danielle has hit him like a ton of bricks and the sexual tension between them is so thick. He has to restrain himself from moving to quickly with her. She drives him wild in the most intimate ways and he is afraid that one time with her will be enough. He finds himself questioning which one of them will be able to walk away without a broken heart or wanting more.

Danielle Lang still finds it hard to believe that Jack Rider has accepted her offer. When the teacher becomes the student there is no turning back. Danielle finds herself exposed to so much more than she expected and fins that what you read in books is not always what you see, hear and learn in real life. Jack opens her eyes to what sexuality really is and teaches her that it is ok to have certain wants, needs and desires.

Book 2 is just a smokin' hot and sexy as book 1 was. I seriously am in love with this series and cannot wait for the last book to be released! I love the authors writing style and the characters are awesome, well developed and entertaining. ( )

Hands On Series by Cathryn Fox
Three Part Series
Source: Netgalley (Part 2), Purchase (Parts 1 & 3)
My Rating: 4/5 stars
My Series Review:

It’s not every day you walk into your local coffee shop and a few hours later your high school crush is asking you over for a booty call.

Jack Rider has a reputation as being a lady’s man, and why shouldn’t he? He’s panty dropping sexy and an accomplished pro football player. If the press is to be believed, he’s bedded a good portion of the women in the US and makes no apologies for having done so. Oh, Jack’s had his fun, to be sure, but when he’s unexpectedly and surprisingly approached by his old high school crush, Danielle Lang, he starts to think his definition of fun might be a tad bit off the mark.

Danielle Lang has a shiny new advanced degree, a new job that starts soon, and a deep-seated fear of what that job entails. In theory, Danielle understands the psychology of sex but teaching a classroom full of college freshmen about something she has zero practical knowledge of, is terrifying. Yeah, Danielle is a newly licensed counselor about to teach a class on sex and she’s a virgin. Between all the studying, the extra studying, and the lack of a social life, Danielle didn’t have much time for dating and she’s not quite the one-stand type. When her best-friend comes up with a plan to contract a sexual partner for a couple weeks, Danielle thinks the idea is insane, and then, Jack Rider walks back into her life.

Jack can’t believe his luck. Danielle is intelligent, kind, sexy as hell, and more than willing to let Jack teach her everything he knows. Danielle expects the lessons to be short, somewhat clinical, and to the point, but Jack turns out to be a patient man with more to offer than just a hot body. He’s a dirty talker with a vivid imagination and more than a little interest in Danielle’s education. While the two agreed to two weeks and nothing more, turns out, each is far more than the other bargained for. Not wanting to look a total schmuck, both Jack and Danielle keep their true feelings to themselves until it is damn-near too late.

The Bottom Line: The Hands On series is so much more than just a series of hot, sweaty sex scenes!! Don’t get me wrong, there’s A LOT of hot, sweaty sex scenes but they aren’t gratuitous at all. There’s a real story mixed in here and I quite liked both Danielle and Jack. They get to know each other so well in such a short amount of time and it is in more than just a sexual manner. Each brings out the best in the other which makes the eventual HEA so very, very sweet!! If you’re looking for a super-quick, sexy read, I am all about recommending Cathryn Fox’s Hands On series. ( )
