This is the first part of a three part series and I loved this sweet, sexy, quick read! This happens to be the first book I have read by this author and I really loved it. Her characters are awesome and fairly well developed and the content draws you in and has you turning page after page wanting more. Danielle Lang has not had the easiest life. Bounced from foster home to foster home, she never knew what it truly meant to be loved and cared for. Now she has graduated college with a degree in psychology and dreams of opening up her own family practice, there is only one obstacle in her way, the mountain of debt she has. When she is offered a position at the local college teaching sex therapy to a bunch of incoming freshmen, she sees the chance to earn some fast cash and pay off some debt, what she didn't factor in at first is that she knows very little about sex therapy on a personal level. Enter hotter than hell Jake Rider, NFL quarterback and local heartthrob. Jack Rider is home for the summer to heal his injured knee. He needs to get back to what he does best, playing football. What he didn't expect was to be propositioned by sweet, sexy Danielle. He has had his eye on her for years. What he thinks will be a night of hot sex, turns into so much more. He becomes the teacher and only has two weeks to show her everything that she could possibly need to know about sex. OMG!!! Seriously, this book is sexy, HOT HOT HOT!!!! The banter and feels are awesome. Jack may be all rough, dirty mouthed and sexy as hell, but he sure as hell knows how to treat and take care of a woman! A must read! Hands On Series by Cathryn Fox Three Part Series Source: Netgalley (Part 2), Purchase (Parts 1 & 3) My Rating: 4/5 stars My Series Review: It’s not every day you walk into your local coffee shop and a few hours later your high school crush is asking you over for a booty call. Jack Rider has a reputation as being a lady’s man, and why shouldn’t he? He’s panty dropping sexy and an accomplished pro football player. If the press is to be believed, he’s bedded a good portion of the women in the US and makes no apologies for having done so. Oh, Jack’s had his fun, to be sure, but when he’s unexpectedly and surprisingly approached by his old high school crush, Danielle Lang, he starts to think his definition of fun might be a tad bit off the mark. Danielle Lang has a shiny new advanced degree, a new job that starts soon, and a deep-seated fear of what that job entails. In theory, Danielle understands the psychology of sex but teaching a classroom full of college freshmen about something she has zero practical knowledge of, is terrifying. Yeah, Danielle is a newly licensed counselor about to teach a class on sex and she’s a virgin. Between all the studying, the extra studying, and the lack of a social life, Danielle didn’t have much time for dating and she’s not quite the one-stand type. When her best-friend comes up with a plan to contract a sexual partner for a couple weeks, Danielle thinks the idea is insane, and then, Jack Rider walks back into her life. Jack can’t believe his luck. Danielle is intelligent, kind, sexy as hell, and more than willing to let Jack teach her everything he knows. Danielle expects the lessons to be short, somewhat clinical, and to the point, but Jack turns out to be a patient man with more to offer than just a hot body. He’s a dirty talker with a vivid imagination and more than a little interest in Danielle’s education. While the two agreed to two weeks and nothing more, turns out, each is far more than the other bargained for. Not wanting to look a total schmuck, both Jack and Danielle keep their true feelings to themselves until it is damn-near too late. The Bottom Line: The Hands On series is so much more than just a series of hot, sweaty sex scenes!! Don’t get me wrong, there’s A LOT of hot, sweaty sex scenes but they aren’t gratuitous at all. There’s a real story mixed in here and I quite liked both Danielle and Jack. They get to know each other so well in such a short amount of time and it is in more than just a sexual manner. Each brings out the best in the other which makes the eventual HEA so very, very sweet!! If you’re looking for a super-quick, sexy read, I am all about recommending Cathryn Fox’s Hands On series. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

When hot as hell Danielle Lang showed up and asked me to teach her about sex, I thought I was hallucinating. Turns out the beautiful psychologist needed an extra bit of schooling in all things sexual so she could teach a class. I'm always up for helping a friend. I mean, it's the least I can do. What I wasn't expecting is for her to turn the tables and teach me a few things. Only this short-term promise of two weeks in her bed is going by a little too quickly. Not that I'm thinking forever or anything. I've got a football career to get back to. And she doesn't want to be a part of my world. There's no way we can be together-so I'm going to make sure I enjoy every sexy second . . . Contains mature themes. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

I enjoy reading. For me it is a time to relax and unwind after a stressful day. Favorite format is series because as one journey ends, another begins. While becoming acquainted with new characters, there is also a chance to visit previous ones. That works great for me because it's the best of both worlds. I am not a big fan of serials where one story is divided into more than one novel because a pet peeve of mine is having to wait for the next installment to see what happens next. It drives me crazy. For that reason I was wary of Hands On. Ms. Fox ended up surprising me. Hands On reads like a soap opera with it's format but begins a sensuous romance that has no trouble with grabbing the attention and whetting a readers appetite for more. I got so caught up in Danielle and Jack that I forgot everything else. Still bummed I have to wait to see what happens, but I'm hooked all the same. A guilty pleasure that's worth all the hype. ( )
