I cannot believe that I forgot to leave a review. Oh yeah that's right cuz my phone was charging. I just want to say that I am so impressed with this author. She makes you feel everything. Now I mean everything. To the point that you actually want to throw each and every character off the New York building! byeeeee. So moving on.

I think both parties dealt with things poorly. You have Dean that you absolutely have to tell that you're screwing around on him. But instead of telling Dean what's going on, telling your parents what's going on, like you're supposedly going to anyway, she decides I'm going to rip Tyler's heart straight from his chest, throw it on the ground, and stomp on it.

Yeah...no

If it had been me, I would have just told Dean the truth. Who cares if it's over the phone? As soon as I knew that my feelings for Tyler were legit, I would have freaking called him up on the phone and said hey Dean I have to talk to you. Get your ass somewhere private so we can do this now.

But this is not a perfect world. What I just told you, that's a perfect world. No such thing.

And then what Tyler did at the end of the book. If he had been my boyfriend, or my step sibling who I was considering dating, by the way this is after fucking his brains out for God knows how long, I would have beaten the ever living shit out of him. Right there right then. I would have killed him. To put her through that garbage only to turn around and say but I need you and I have to live without you. I would have flipped the ever-loving hell out.

That girl has the patience of a goddamn saint.

I would have picked up everything I could possibly find and whipped it in his head and then I would pick up the lamp and I would have beaten him over it, his head, with it over and over and over and well you get the point.

I absolutely love this series.

I read it years ago, and then I recommended it to a friend, and I had to reread it and there are things in it that I totally forgot about, so of course reading the books now is like reading them over again. Some things I remember, some things I really did not, which made me cry. Made me want to throw my book, which I wouldn't have done because it's a tablet lol. I was so emotional through the entire book.

I am something like 7 or 8 chapters into the third book and I am so angry you just don't have a clue. I just find it so odd that this boy thinks that he can just do what he pleases and everybody's just going to be sitting around waiting for him. But that's another review. Can't wait to see you there lol. ( )

3.5 stars.

Picking up about a year after the previous novel ended, Did I Mention I Need You? is the second installment in Estelle Maskame's DIMILY Trilogy. This latest addition is the continuation of stepsiblings Eden Munro and Tyler Bruce's forbidden romance and once again, there is plenty of drama as the pair try to move forward with their relationship.

Although Eden and Tyler have been separated for the past year, they have stayed in close contact and Eden does not hesitate to accept Tyler's offer to visit him in New York. Right from their first meeting, it is very apparent their feelings for one another have not diminished and while they struggle to maintain an physical distance, they are fighting a losing battle. While they eventually give in to their desire for one another, there are two HUGE issues they somehow manage to ignore. First, how they are going to break the news they are in love with each other to their families. And most important, Eden is still in a relationship with her boyfriend, Dean, who just happens to be Tyler's best friend.

Despite high hopes that the year apart would bring changes to Eden, sadly, she is still the same immature, selfish, jealous and indecisive young women as she was in the first book of the series. While her decision to visit Tyler is understandable, it is virtually impossible to fathom her reasons for not breaking up with Dean before embarking on her trip. Instead, she chooses to avoid his calls and even worse, she resumes her relationship with Tyler. Although she tells herself over and over how horrible she is for not being honest with Dean, she still puts off doing the right thing which in turn sets the scene for even more drama later in the book.

Tyler, on the other hand, is much more mature and likable in this outing. He has come to terms with his abusive childhood and his self-destructive behavior is a thing of the past. He is much more laidback, easygoing and cheerful than before and for the most part, he thinks before he acts. Unfortunately, once the couple returns to California, Tyler is forced to make a difficult decision that leads to more heartache. However, in the long run, it is the healthiest choice for him.

Although a bit of a frustrating read, Did I Mention I Need You? is still an enjoyable addition to the DIMILY Trilogy. It will be interesting to see what Estelle Maskame has planned for Tyler and Eden in the last book of the series, which is scheduled to release in June. ( )

I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous one!

I actually began to root for these two to succeed which I wasn't entirely sure of in the last book.

This book definitely started on a high note. I felt like Eden had matured from the previous novel but alas, that idea quickly died. I understand the difficult decisions she has had to make but sometimes, I think the logic escapes her. I feel like my thought process differs greatly from hers so I have a hard time being sympathetic when she makes sill choices.

Regardless, I enjoyed this novel a lot more than I expected and am very curious to see how everything wraps up in the finale!
