Dear god, this couple just drove me completely up the wall down and back again. I absolutely loved this series. I am going to read the POV of Tyler's but before then I must tell you this couple, I relate to them 100%. Well at least on Tyler's end lol. Take out the father put in my mother there you go. So I understand where he's coming from. I understand wanting to mask the pain, to distract yourself away from it. Unfortunately for me drugs, alcohol, sex lol, didn't work. I don't exactly have an addictive personality. At least not that way. So when it came to me distracting, I'd hit things. Not people. Not myself. But things. Walls, poles, doors, mirrors. It was the way that I dealt with the pain of the past but in the present.

Reading Tyler's story and Eden story wrote this entire book had me triggering all over the goddamn place.

But honestly it was worth it. If you trigger easily, I must warn you there are a bunch of them throughout this entire book but, it is worth it.

There are so many times that I wanted to bawl my eyes out, or throw my tablet, or punch someone. Yes I said someone. I'm glad in this book that Eden finally got her father to listen and actually give an excuse for his behavior. I'm actually surprised that she didn't suggest that they go into therapy. Because I think it would actually do them a freaking world of good.

I know that when I am reviewing a book I basically talk as if the situations are real, I am not stupid I know they are not. But at the same time, when you read a book, you immerse yourself into the story. Well at least if it's a good story then you do it. You become a part of their lives. So yes I do talk in my reviews as though I'm speaking about real people.

And as I said their story is well worth the triggers. Well worth the pain, the sadness, the memories.

The author did such a great job on this series. And I am happy to announce that I only found maybe a handful of grammar issues. Which I shouldn't really talk considering I probably have enough of them just in this review alone lol.

It just made it a lot more easier to get into the store and become part of everybody's lives.

Thank you to the author for such an amazing story.

Okay so I have to be honest. It took me forever to get through this book. It's not that it's a bad book. It's a great book. It's good to see things from his point of view. It's just that bouncing back and forth made the book go slower than it needed to. It just kind of drove me insane. To the point that my mind would be focused on one part of the story and then all of a sudden jump to another part and switching gears for me lately has been kind of hard. As I mentioned before in other reviews I switched at my medicines so I'm kind of what's the word I could use, slug brained. Ms fog. Anyway I finally got to the story, the last chapter broke my damn heart. And I remember this part in the original books about when Eden was sitting on his lap basically breaking his heart. I remember that feeling.

On a side note again reading about what happened with his father was really hard for me. It had triggering all over it. Just replace the dad with a mother instead. And that was my life. And I even told my husband reading it I was sick to my stomach a few times because I would have flashbacks of what went down with my own experiences. So the writer did a great job in writing the story. But like I said it was kind of laggy and kind of drove me insane. But the message was delivered very well. So that's why I didn't subtract any stars or anything like that. Great story, and I would totally recommend it to everyone. Just ask my friend janelle. I recommended it to her and she seems to like it just fine.

This was cute. We always look at these books and wonder what happened next. What happened 5 10 15 years from now? Well at least now we know lol. And I for one am happy with it. But hey think of it this way, this makes for such a great opening for spinoff.

I love this book because it brings up a very important question. What exactly makes a sibling? It's blood right? So why can't steps date? Why is it frowned upon as if they're committing incest or something?

I think this is a great book. It definitely shows society's views on all of this crap. I think that Eden and Tyler are good for each other. Eden helps Tyler deal with his bullshit, she forces him to deal with it. She shows she cares and that she's not going to give up on him. And that's what he needed. Tyler in turn, teaches her to accept her body, except herself as she is, forces her to open up to new things and just be herself and have fun.

Tiffany is an evil bitch and although I've read this series years ago, I still wish that a bus or or some kind of building would drop on her head and kill her. I'm not a bad person. I'm not this evil person that wishes death upon others. But she is so evil. She's blackmails him into staying with her. Ruins his life with his mom. Then fix a pregnancy just to stay with him. What the hell is wrong with her? Daddy issues.

I know it took me a few days to finish the book, but my actual reading time was just under 3 hours. I've just had a hell of a week and, let's just say so stressed. To put it mildly.

I am about to start the next book and try to catch up to my friend Janelle, by the way shout out to janelle, and we'll see how fast it takes me to get through the next two books so that way we can read it together.
