Reading Tyler's story and Eden story wrote this entire book had me triggering all over the goddamn place.
But honestly it was worth it. If you trigger easily, I must warn you there are a bunch of them throughout this entire book but, it is worth it.
There are so many times that I wanted to bawl my eyes out, or throw my tablet, or punch someone. Yes I said someone. I'm glad in this book that Eden finally got her father to listen and actually give an excuse for his behavior. I'm actually surprised that she didn't suggest that they go into therapy. Because I think it would actually do them a freaking world of good.
I know that when I am reviewing a book I basically talk as if the situations are real, I am not stupid I know they are not. But at the same time, when you read a book, you immerse yourself into the story. Well at least if it's a good story then you do it. You become a part of their lives. So yes I do talk in my reviews as though I'm speaking about real people.
And as I said their story is well worth the triggers. Well worth the pain, the sadness, the memories.
The author did such a great job on this series. And I am happy to announce that I only found maybe a handful of grammar issues. Which I shouldn't really talk considering I probably have enough of them just in this review alone lol.
It just made it a lot more easier to get into the store and become part of everybody's lives.
Thank you to the author for such an amazing story.… (altro)
