If you've read a few Helen Bianchin books, you'll notice she tends to write about the same kind of plot lines: a marriage of convenience story with an evil ex as the villain. Her heroes are all so rich and hawt that one of his exes always go crazy to try to get him back again.

And yes, that is true with this book. Franco Giancarlo and Gianna Castelli married for business reasons. Readers know that Gianna loves Franco, but we rarely know what Franco is thinking. Franco's evil ex is recently divorced and now she wants Franco. Gianna, insecure in her marriage, always believes the evil ex's lies rather than Franco's vague reassurances. This books just gets tiring because that's just what keeps happening—lather, rinse and repeat.

Maybe Bianchin fans would like this book as a filler, but this one isn't that special at all. ( )
