I have to admit I don't generally read this genre but I got hooked from the first page. There is an intimacy to Chance Carter's writing that just feels like he's speaking directly to your soul.

All I have to say is WOW. This is not the story I was expecting when I picked it up. The sex scenes are beyond steamy and left me blushing and flushing like crazy. It's been a while since I found a book able to do that to me. (Not safe for work in any way.) Warning - this book does use graphic language.

This story is fantastic. The switch between view points is handled beautifully. The relationship dynamics were great. To see the feelings from both a male and female perspective was amazing. Right from the start I was rooting for Faith to find a way out of her situation. I loved her tough act while knowing the reality of her situation. Jackson wasn't quite an instant favorite. It took a little bit of time but he definitely grew on me. And all I have to say is where can I find a man like him?

Bottom line is that this book is beyond fantastic. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a steamy bad boy read. I've already added Chance Carter to favorite authors list.

This book was a good read. It would have been better if the same thing had not been repeated so many times. It would have been better and a little shorter had the repeated phrases been taken out and the length shortened. The concept however was really good! After I got over the beginning I liked it a whole lot better. Jackson and Faith had a hard road to get to their happily ever after. I liked the way it ended and would try another book by this author. ( )
