Such a good series! I love the McAdams sisters and their extended families. They are fun, supportive, ambitious, hard-working and very funny. They love hard!! And they are very protective of their own. This is Sydney's story and she has a lot going on what with being a widow, single mother, entrepreneur and longing for her best friend and first love to come around. There are lots of twists and turns in this story and lots of secrets but it is very sweet too and at times is really hot! Well worth the read and doesn't have to be read in order. You can figure out the relationships but reading the whole series would probably be a much more fulfilling experience. After all, they are a great family to get to know! ( )

I have found that I really enjoy reading books in a series. Maybe it’s because if the story is good, the characters are well written and the setting so beautiful you don’t want the story to finish. The McAdams Sister series has all of this and the series just keeps getting better.

In this story, it’s about a love that has gone on for a decade with both Sydney and Jake not admitting to it. There are also many secrets between the two of them that keep them as friends and nothing more. As the story moves along there are so many twists, turns, and surprises that makes you want to read more and not stop. With all the secrets can Sydney and Jake ever get past them and become a true couple? You’ll have to read it to find out and will enjoy every bit of this story. It can be a stand alone but you will enjoy it even more reading the series from the beginning. ( )
