A complete pet owners manual

This book gave a nice overview of Great Pyrenees dogs, however, I'm not sure of the accuracy of the information. The book states it's okay to bathe a Great Pyrenees as much as you want, but I've read quite the contrary in many other places - that it will cause their fur to get matted. That is just one example, but many more small things like this exist. It seems the author is knowledgeable about dogs, but perhaps not as up on the specific Great Pyrenees breed as she could be.

The photography was really great, however, and the various illustrations were useful as well. ( )
