This is a Secret Wars tie-in. You don't need to read any of the tie-ins to read the main Secret Wars event book.

Out of the few Secret Wars tie-in books I've read. This was one of my favorites, showing the state of a Doom controlled world.

There is a couple of old Thor comics at the end, that is a weird read. You can skip it if you want or don't like to read old comics.

The Main story is fantastic, if you want to read some tie-ins. ( )

Someone is killing the same woman over and over. Ultimate Thor and Beta Ray Bill are on the case.

They find out who the woman is, but at great cost. Not to mention, they then have to figure out who is killing all the same woman and why.

There were a ton of cool Thors in this like Storm as a Thor, a dog Thor (Thrr), a forensic Frog Thor (at the end of the TPB was a story where Thor got turned into a frog). And it had Groot Thor (Totally awesome!!)

It was not as much of mystery as it could have been, but, it was a little like Battleworld CSI. And it had a small part with Odinson in it, and even some Loki, although he was a much different seeming Loki for sure. ( )

Serviceable story. I liked the mash-up of having all the various Thor's from different continuities in one story, but making them "cops" as opposed to knights or warriors felt like a misstep. Not a standout out from the Secret Wars, and the page count is padded with an old Simonson story which introduces the "frog-Thor" incarnation of the character. I love the role of Asgard in the Marvel Universe and like crazy "kitchen-sink" stories and even meeting those criteria this one was just OK in my book. ( )

All the Thors got together and put into a spoof police procedural. Jason Aaron does enough with that idea to make the story worthwhile on more than a fan-pleasing level, though, like so many crossover tie-ins, it feels rather open-ended - the resolution isn't here, it's in the Secret Wars TPB. ( )
