This isn't a book about action and adventure, but can be better categorized as a thriller or suspense. It didn't have enough to keep me completely hooked, but enough for me to want to finish the book and see how the book came to an end. There is lots of information on Russian Politics, which must be comprehended to fully grasp what is happening in the rest of the story. Of course with fraud and murder, you're bound to be intrigued as to what happens next, and it was this aspect that helped the story to go by much easier.
There are a lot of plots and different settings that occur during this read, and details are spread evenly throughout the whole book, giving you a little piece of the picture, chapter by chapter. The characters are described well enough to predict their next move based on personality type.
Overall considering the amount of information thrown at you, the main plot, and the writing style this is definitely a book worthy of 4/5. ( )
