This was an enjoyable story and I’m surprised that more people haven’t read this.

Gawd, Gideon is a fucking prickly bastard. Understandably angry and bitter, he takes his frustrations out on anyone who’s handy, and most of the time it’s his extraordinary sous chef Eddie, who gets the brunt end. Despite his oft bad moods, Gideon also can’t help his attraction to the sweet, talented ginger. He struggles with the inappropriateness of the whole situation, and we all know that’s going to be a losing battle.

Eddie in turn, can’t help crushing on his sexy, surly boss. He knows Gideon has been through hell and only wants to help or soothe him in any way possible.

I really loved the kitchen/restaurant setting and only wished that it was consistently portrayed throughout. I also enjoyed the push pull of these two characters as they resist and then act on their attraction. The UST was very, very nice, while the rest was sweet sexy. Of note, this kinda veered off into a couple different plot lines, which I guess was necessary for the continuation of this series, but it seemed a bit disjointed. Regardless, the supporting cast was strong and interesting enough that I’ll have no problem with reading about their happy endings to come!

I'm not sure why but this book felt almost insubstantial for me. It was barely on this edge of corny.

The best was a secondary character, Leslie. For him I'll go ahead with the series. ( )

For the life of me I could not connect with the characters. The book was too wordy and too "out there" - I still can't understand why all the paranormal business with Luke was necessary.

Loved the premise and the humor, but on the whole it was just OK. I think it might be me. 2.5 stars.

A sweet gay romance set in London. Gideon, the owner of a hip restaurant, finds himself lusting after his new head chef, Eddie. Although Gideon also can't taste anything due to trauma, he finds himself falling in love. I confess, the book made me hungry. Good romance. I plan to pick up the rest of the series. ( )

This is my take on the story and may not necessary be true to what the author is projecting. Love You Senseless is about a ragtag group of everyday people with quirks and faults that come together to make a lovable friends/family of sorts.

The two main characters are Eddie and Gideon. Both are excellent chefs, but both have their own issues going on besides. Eddie is a total sweetheart. He is definitely a nurturer, caring for friends, family and even his grumpy boss. Gideon is the grumpy boss. He was in an accident where he saw a friend die and which caused the loss of his sense of smell and taste. For someone who deals in food, this is a huge deal.

Gideon had no doubt that his feelings for Eddie, even in just such a short time, were not simply a matter of lust. Eddie was peace to Gideon's war, his warmth to Gideon's chill.

We meet several characters along the way. Since this is a series, maybe we had the introduction of some of the future love interests. Eddie helps to pull Gideon from dark hole. In the process, the reader falls for this two while they fall for each other.

The fact he loved the man senseless was certainly a step in the right direction. The fact he was loved back—that was a definite plus in his book.

I found this to be a sweet, fun, sexy and heartwarming story. I will certainly read the next book.
