Pleasure Control was a short and moderately sexy read with little conflict between two scientists. One is love 'em and leave 'em Jay and the other is "nerdy girl" Laura. Their back stories felt shoe horned in, and never really fully explored although the story relationship Jay had with his mother is mentioned often. I also think there was an overuse of euphemisms for intercourse and the names of body parts. The channel is tunnel where a train runs from the UK to France shouldn't be used to describe a woman's vagina. EVER. Also, wet velvet is ewwwww feeling. (

In Cathryn Fox's first book, part of a three book erotica series, she introduces us to Laura and Jay. Laura and Jay are coworkers in a lab. The lab is trying to make a serum that will decrease oversexed men's sex drives. Jay decides to be the guinea pig and tries out the serum. The serum does not end up working the way it was supposed to, and this leads to some serious hot sexual encounters between Laura and Jay.

I devoured this book in only one week. Cathryn Fox writes a very entertaining book. Between the hot, steamy sex scenes and her well drawn out characters, this is one boiling hot book! The sex scenes are sexy, and inspiring. Cathryn Fox's books are always a delicious treat to be savored one page at a time. (
