Carthy is with her, badly wounded after she shot him, but she still try to keep him alive even though he is the one that have chased her and Abe. I actually kind of started to like Carthy in this book and that felt a bit weird, but he did do a kind thing towards the end of the book. Need to read more to see how it goes. Josephine is still one badass nun! But where is Abe? Was it really the last we saw of him in the last book? I received this copy from the publisher through NetGalley in return for an honest review!
