Carter Griffin, enforcing officer for the Seattle Wolf Pack, has a problem. He's been offered the promotion of his dreams...if he can find a wife to prove he's over his playboy ways. But Carter's already walked the matrimonial road and bought the stinkin' T-shirt. Besides, a werewolf only gets one fated mate. Been there, done that. All werewolf dog trainer Faith Hamilton wants to do is earn enough green stuff to put her younger brother through college. Okay, okay, so she also totally wants Carter, her sexy next-door neighbor, to look at her as more than a friend. It's too bad size 12 and plain isn't his type. At all. The two friends strike a deal to help one another out. They must face a variety of challenges from a psycho ex-girlfriend to a Yorkie with a shoe fetish...and that pesky problem of only having one-fated mate in a lifetime. Will a relationship ruin their friendship...or spark a love neither anticipated?… (altro)

"2.5 out of 5 stars. This quirky werewolf romance was so cute I couldn't help but root for Carter & Faith. I thoroughly enjoyed their easy banter, learning about Luminaries, and reading about their love story. It was sweet."

Review courtesy of So I Married a Werewolf

One of my favorite types of romance are the ones between old friends or acquaintances become lovers. SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF plays with this trope excellently though I was frustrated at Faith and Carter’s inner monologues proclaiming their attraction for eachother yet never actually verbalizing their feelings. These two oozed chemistry from every pore from their banter to their personalities which made me flip the pages faster to see when they get a clue and act on their unrequited love. Another type of romance story I love is one that is able to be a little bit silly. SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF is able to balance the humor and sweetness of Faith and Carter’s romance really well through clever quips and amusing situations. There are serious bits to this story but what makes it shine is the humor especially the scenes with Faith’s tiny and very horny foster dog.

Faith is a wonderful character who is fun and clever though suffers from the “I think I’m too plain and will be a spinster forever” syndrome. I found it hilarious that she was a werewolf dog trainer who used her dog training skills to ‘train’ Carter. The idea of Carter having to get married for a job promotion rankled a bit and just didn’t make sense from a modern perspective but I went with it as another odd werewolf society thing. It was fun seeing all of Faith and Carter’s ploys and lies they had to create to get everyone to believe they were a couple. I found it highly amusing that they were unknowingly digging themselves in so deep that they were bound to make this sham of a relationship into a real one.

SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF a fun, quick read and had me smiling the whole time. There was gravitas and emotional drama that was leveled out with the hilarious situations that only a fake relationship can create. This is a great stand alone book but I highly recommend the rest of the books in the Seattle Wolf Pack series. ( )

Ah, the old “fake mates” trope, one of my favorites! Throw in the whole fated mates twist and this really made for a great read!

Carter was such an interesting character. He has already found his one fated mate…and even though she has passed away, she has left scars so deep in his heart it’s a wonder he can feel anything at all. So when he tells just a little white lie – yep, the little BIG one where he says he has a fiancé – to help land him the promotion he’s been working hard for, he’s got to think quick and find himself someone to play the part.

Faith is firmly in the friend-zone when it comes to Carter. Yeah, she thinks he’s hot, but she certainly isn't his type – the tall, model types he talks about with her when they have their Friday night movie nights. So when Carter shares his predicament with Faith and they can’t come up with any other candidates, Faith agrees to play part of Carter’s fiancé.

I just loved Faith – she was a woman after my own heart. Strong, determined, and looking to be the best that she can be. She does whatever it takes to provide for herself and her brother, and isn't afraid to take some risks along the way. She is building her own business, and, when things get a bit rocky in the fake marriage department, she doesn't let it get her down, instead she firms her resolve to be the best Faith she can be.

Carter was an interesting character for me. He was carrying around so much baggage from his marriage and refuses to let anyone in – he’s already found his one fated mate and that didn't work out, so how is any other relationship going to be different. What I did like was that he recognized his issues – like being overly possessive and having trust issues – but he also was so hung up on the fated mates thing I really wanted to shake some sense into him more than a couple of times.

As Carter and Faith navigate their way through their fake marriage, Carter gets thrown for a loop when he suddenly starts to have real feelings for Faith…and they may be even stronger than he had with his first mate, which just can't be right. Throw in the drama surrounding who is going to get the promotion, some mystery surrounding fated mates, some sweet and steamy times, and a cute little puppy name Humperdinck, and this was a great addition to the Seattle Wolf Pack series.

I was given a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review. ( )

Like the other books in the Seattle Wolf Pack series there is plenty of romance and angst involved in SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF. I liked both characters, I liked the storyline and I enjoyed watching the two fall in love.

I really, really, really want to see more of the other characters from the earlier books in this series. Drake and Emelia from GONE WITH THE WOLF make a teeny tiny cameo but it just wasn't enough. Give me more updates!

From the day the hot guy next door moved in Faith knew she was attracted to this man. The two, both shifters, were great friends, but it pained Faith to see Carter with all these women who were nothing like her. How could she compete with a Barbie doll when she was a short curvy girl.

Carter wanting to get a promotion needed to impress the big guys with a mate. He told his boss that he was engaged. Where would he find someone to help him get the job and fake an engagement. He turned to Faith for help. The two make an agreement, but Faith was hoping he would really love her as she has been in love with him their whole friendship.

I was really impressed with this book. It has everything, Sex, Laughter, tears, friendship and shifters. It was a story about love and commitment or a fear of commitment. I loved the way the two characters interacted. I also enjoyed Faith grow into a happy self satisfied woman. We watched them become the best people they could be and that made them the perfect couple. This book is paranormal romance, but I would say even for a romance lover give this one try. A great read!!
