This is the first volume in a five volume set. I read this book as part of my research on the history of New England for a book I am working on and I found the information to be interesting and helpful. The book is short but packed with much information. In fact one of the things that I did not like about the book was that it was to full! That is, the text seemed crowded on the page. I have two words of advice for the next printing “white space!” Other than that I have no problem with the book. It delivered just what the title stated “biographical sketches of several 17th century Indian leaders” and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

This is the third volume in a five volume set. This volume gives more information on the New England Indians and King Philip’s War. It is a find addition to the set. (
