The novel Valentine Voodoo is very relatable with many current movie releases using computer generated technology and offers an interesting view into the world of animated movies. This is not an interracial romance but it is a great contemporary romance with suspenseful moments. Stephanie and Eli’s chemistry is white hot and he brings out the perfect mix of coyness and minx in her. Eli’s character has this outward sophistication but just beneath the surface is a bad boy waiting for a good girl like Stephanie to take notice. Stephanie operates with world of cutthroat competition however, she somehow holds on to a sincerity that is refreshing. The plot is intriguing and was caught up in all the technicalities of creating a CGI film. The author did a great job of explaining the technicalities. Love scenes are very erotic but Eli and Stephanie’s coupling expresses lust and love. All in all Valentine Voodoo by Jianne Carlo is a good novel.

Stephanie Grant is making her mark on the world of animation with the upcoming premiere of the film Valentine Voodoo. Unfortunately her competition does not want the movie released before their movie and is willing to go to extreme, even deadly, lengths to prevent this. Eli Gallagher has distribution rights to Valentine Voodoo and has a lot riding on its success. Stephanie and Eli’s relationship is strained because of an earlier dalliance that left Stephanie dissatisfied and Eli mortified. She dreads seeing him again but their role in the film’s promotion forces them to work together. Stephanie and Eli’s feelings are deeper than mere sex and the chemistry flares once again. Working together may give them the chance to get it right this time. Unfortunately Stephanie finds herself a helpless pawn in the sick game for control while Eli faces his worst fear; losing Stephanie again and this time for good.
