I liked this book for several reasons. First, I enjoyed how relatable and believable the characters were. The main characters are a boy and a girl who are siblings and who get into a fight for accusing one another for stealing each other’s toys. The writing of the text is in first person and coming from the boys point of view and how he feels upset for being accused of taking his sisters bunny. For example, it says “But they didn’t believe me.” The illustrations go along with each text on every page. For example, it says “Rascal and I were collecting tomatoes for my boat”, and the picture for that text was the raccoon and the little boy picking tomatoes and putting them into a basket from his garden. The pictures enhance the story when you can see how the emotion and feelings of the boy change from being happy and playing, to being sad and lonely because his toys were also taken. The book pushes readers to think about different perspectives and to not always blame our siblings for taking things. The message of this story is that sometimes you can be falsely accused of taking something and to know what someone else feels like when their belongings are taken. ( )

A fun book to talk about misbehaving. Kids will love figuring out who the troublemaker is and it can be read twice once they figure it out. They can find all the clues in the illustrations the second time. My K-2 students really enjoyed this one! ( )

A mischievous and very bored boy decides to take his sister's stuffed bunny for his pirate game. Yelled at by his mom, he decides to play nicely with his toy raccoon. Too bad he doesn't look around, because a mysterious TroubleMaker begins to skulk off with the children's toys. Readers will notice this is the work of a hoarding real raccoon. The final straw is when the thief steals the boy's blanket overnight. When he awakens, he spots the raccoon surrounded by his belongings asleep in a tree. In my opinion this is a good book because it make reader pay attention to thats happening in the illustrations of the book and not just what is writing on the pages. Very often people forget to look at their surrounding for information and this book represents this well. I believe this is the big idea of the book. I also really like this book for little kids because it is playful and colorful with tons of detail which will capture their mind and let them wonder. ( )

The first time Bunny goes missing, everyone knows whodunnit. But when Bunny, Rascal and more go missing, the whole family is on the lookout for where they may have gone.
