Simon Jenner is one of my favorite authors! That means I will read everything and anything he writes without having to read one word of the synopsis on the cover. I don't even feel that way about Stephen King these days. My favorite authors and books take me on wild adventures whether romantic and sultry as in historical fiction, scare the bejesus out of me as in horror, get my heart racing as in thrillers and work my brain trying to figure out a mystery, etc. Simon Jenner is one of those authors who is able to take me on amazing adventures from the first word to the last. I love that!

I was given Incendiary by Simon in return for an honest review, as he did with the 2 other Ethan Justice books, and I can honestly say I loved it! What's not to love?! Incendiary is exciting, thrilling, mysterious, action-filled and has an antagonist so evil, I hated him before I even knew what his place in the story was. Simon is a master in creating characters who have their own voice and who get under my skin. Over the course of the 3 Ethan Justice books I've read, I've come to love Ethan, Savannah and Agent Johnson because they're such dynamic characters. I felt very protective of Ethan and Savannah and worried about them and cheered them on while they fought their way through the plot. Agent Johnson doesn't need my concern, he's experienced and absolutely amazing! He's also an American like me - way to go Herb! lol I can't wait for Simon to write more Ethan Justice and other books! I'm a fan and hooked for life! ( )

The two "unofficial" Earthguard agents Ethan and Savannah are once again faced with the task of saving innocent lives against all odds, challenging some of the most perverse, violent and mentally disturbed criminal minds Europe can offer.

Just having returned from the Caribbean, Ethan and Savannah are forced to cut short their vacation and go to Spain to protect Ethan's sister Rachel who was first thought to have been in danger from the enemies of her boyfriend Carl psychopathic criminal step father Mr. Nelson.

It turns out that Mr. Nelson was the master mind behind all the explosions and shootings at Carl's night clubs and it was all an elaborate scheme to wrestle control from Mr. Nelson's Russian counterparts in the criminal underworld by trying to stage his attack against his rivals as a terrorist attack. While Ethan earned his place in this third installment it is Savannah who laboured the most and was at most risk....having twice been sexually assaulted and engaging in arm to arm combat with some of the most sexually perversed and religiously insane gangsters.

In the end Savannah survived with many a scratch and bruise, Ethan got the better of Mr. Nelson and Earth Guard Agent Herb Johnson reaped all the rewards and praise for all the hard work done by Ethan and Savannah, ( )
