I like Lynne Graham. I guess you all know that by now. This one was great. It is the second of a trilogy of which I've already read the other two. The heroine was not a whiny wimp and she stood up fairly well to the hero. She was susceptible in the bedroom but so was he and that was fine. I don't mind her being led around by her lady bits if it's equally obvious to both of him that he is being led around by his manly parts as well. He was arrogant and out for revenge but he was never an ass to her. In fact there were several times that he could have really been mean to her but he didn't take the opening. Most of the time even when he was being all revengy he was still super supportive of her especially around her lousy stepfamily. It was pretty clear that although he thought he wanted revenge. What he really wanted was the heroine.

He found out that he was all in the wrong about 2/3rds of the way through then it was fun to watch him scramble to make up to her. A pretty nice bit of groveling at the end. ( )
