I didn't think that I could like Eli even more, but I was wrong. A great read. ( )

The Lonely was a good book, but Lost Boy really helped bring it all home for me. Ms. Brown did a fabulous job of character development and really making me feel like part of the story. Love this book!! ( )

This was a perfect companion to The Lonely! I wish though, that it would've been two duel POV books instead of the companion novel, because I feel so much more connected to the story as a whole now. Eli is perfect, all of my questions were answered. His actions were accounted for. I would have (maybe) liked a bit more of his BDSM fetish explored, but the book in a whole is not about sex, it's about to broken, effed up people trying to heal themselves. There were times while reading The Lonely, that Eli's intentions were highly questionable, and now you fully understand what was going on. You fully get the torture scene. You get the pain, the loss, the brokenness that is this couple.

I loved Stuart in this book too! You'd never guess that he is such an awesome guy who is just as broken, if not more than Eli and Sarah. I like him so much I'd like to see a story about him. Just a little novella, perhaps Shell and him well after this book ends. (Though I didn't really like her character in The Lonely).

Overall if you liked the first book, then this companion is frosting on the cake. It truly takes you behind the scenes and completes the whole story. I think I like this better than the predecessor because it has more feelings, and you get a smoother transition from Em to Sarah, one that you can understand a lot better. ( )
