*This is a New Adult Romance and contains MA 17+ Content. After Kylie's dad dies in a freak accident, he leaves her with nothing other than her crazy stepmother, Darla, and the ability to play guitar. When Darla kicks Kylie out and she loses her job all in the same day, she hops a bus to Nashville determined to make her late father's dreams come true. Waitressing and saving her pennies to record a demo, her big break comes when she's asked to join a tour going down the tubes with once platinum album-selling country music superstar Trace Corbin. But touring with Trace is hardly a dream come true since he's pretty much drinking his career down the drain. If Kylie can't pull Trace out of his rut, he'll pull her and her dreams down with him. "A refreshing heroine and a great story you'll hate to put down " - Diane Alberts, Bestselling author of the Take A Chance series "Kylie Ryans has the perfect mix of talent, strength, vulnerability, and chutzpah. An unputdownable read." -E.M. Tippetts, bestselling author of the Someone Else's Fairytale series "Girl With Guitar gave me everything I could possibly want. A misunderstood hero. A feisty heroine. Amazing chemistry. Fun moments mixed with the steamy...Great lyrics provided the soundtrack to this country love story that made me laugh out loud, swoon, and even tear up. Can't ask for more than that " -Rachel Harris, author of My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century… (altro)

To be honest, I had vowed no more “rock” chit-lit books for me! Well, good thing this isn’t rock ‘n’ roll! This is all country! I am not even sure where to start with this story. I have so many thoughts swirling in my head that they don’t really make much sense, well they wouldn’t to anyone except for me.

I am glad I took a chance on Kylie Ryan. I had my heart ripped out, sewn back in place, then ripped out again, multiple times; all the while, a smile on my face and teary eyes. Can you believe that? All at the same time! Thank you Caisey Quinn!

This is so much more than just a book about musicians on a tour bus falling in love, but resisting that love. This is a book that drags out the coming of two people in perfect harmony. I would have been disappointed had things worked out sooner or even started up sooner! There is perfect balance in this story to keep you from putting it down!

I really loved that all of the issues and drama in this story weren’t fixed right away, if at all… Not going to spoil any of the story by telling you about that! I liked that things were drug out in such a way I found myself shaking my head wanting to bitch-slap someone!

Kylie and Trace have the perfect love-dislike relationship that borders on relatable on some levels. I think that is what makes this book so good. It’s not some over-the-top, unbelievable story. It’s just two down-home country singers trying to be successful without losing themselves on the journey, but in the meantime finding each other and how well they COULD compliment one another if they could just get over themselves!

As I type out this review, I am preparing to read the sequel to this book… Aren’t you jealous? All I can tell you is that if you haven’t read this book, you are missing out! I suggest you read it! You will not be disappointed! ( )

Oh My I really liked this book. The characters were great and the story was brilliant. I enjoyed watching Kylie's story and watched as she struggled to make herself in the country music world. This had everything in a book that I like and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good, rough, love story about life in the celebrity world. I am so ready to read the next book in the series :) ( )

So I kinda want to do my review based on both this book and book #2 Girl On Tour and I can't post my review for the second book yet so I will share this with you all .

My Favorite quotes:

“Trace Corbin should come with a warning label: highly addictive.”

“Damn, the boy could sing. And Lord, those jeans. Oh no. She was becoming a Trace Corbin fangirl. She could feel it happening and she was powerless to stop it.”

“Okay, and yeah, he was hot as ten hells and could sing a girl's panties right off of her.”

“I’m not that guy, Kylie.”

“What guy?”

“The guy you deserve.”

"She was from Oklahoma, and knew a thing or two about storm warnings. Trace Corbin was setting off all the sirens inside of her. Kylie was standing directly in the path of something wild and dangerous and a hell of a lot more powerful than she."

"Kylie, if I ever again see you in a place like The Player's Club, or alone in a bedroom with a musician who wants nothing more than to fuck you, then I can't be held responsible for what I might do."
"Does right now count as being alone in a bedroom with a musician who wants to fuck me?"
"Yes, it does. Which is why you should run back to your room as fast as those pretty little legs can carry you. And lock the goddamned door." ( )
