A free book read on my Kindle during a flight - it consists of seven short stories, of varying lengths and themes. Three of them relate to drinking, hence the title; important issues are covered sensitively in fictional settings.

There are a couple of gentle romantic stories too, and two very dark stories which I found quite disturbing. As an introduction to the author's writing it's a good mixture, and I thought the writing was excellent, although I rather wished that the last story had ended on a more uplifting note.

Recommended, if you like a mixture of mostly character-based stories and don't mind the more disturbing ones.
