A good book about Lucia. Lucia is an ordinary girl fortunate to have her grandmother living. With age, comes wisdom. Lucia's grandmother converses with her about a woman named Jane Jacobs who would talk about neighborhoods. Lucia likes to oversee the things that happen in her neighborhood. She looks at the environment, the designs on her neighbor's yard, what the people around her are doing, and the conversations that happen around her neighborhood. This book most definitely encourages me to love my neighborhood more and take the role of Lucia who is on a mission. ( )
