Tiny (aka Prince Seren Di Lakai Telosa, Son of Lakai, Prince of the Night and Shadows, Lord of the Seventh Gates) is in hiding not because he fears for his life, but because he is bored with it. He is even on the demon most wanted list because of his royal status. Tiny becomes a bouncer at a paranormal bar instead of being a demon prince.

Cassia is a vampire but also a bounty hunter for hire. She specializes in paranormals. She streaks her hair and gets a fake tan so she can blend in with the humans and fool the paranormals she is after.

Moonlight and Magic is a popular paranormal bar that Tiny works at. He enjoys his work most nights but this one stands out in his mind. He watches a group of vampires trying to get into the club even though they are not allowed to even come in. Instead they try to take advantage of a group of humans. He follows in case he is needed and watches a woman confront them. He thinks she is human until he watches her fight. He wants her, but is surprised and irritated that she is a vampire. Later that night they have sex and both enjoy it a little too much. Tiny is surprised to find markings on his palm. He is mated and what is worse, it is to a vampire.

Deception and Desire by Mina Carter was absolutely hysterical and sexy as hell just like all her books. Tiny isn’t so tiny, but one big demon that is dangerous yet so sexy. Tiny has been told most of his life that vampires are bad, but once he meets one he has to admit that they are not so bad after all. I loved the way Tiny fell so hard for Cassia. Even though he knew it was wrong he still went with his feelings. Cassia was also funny with her bad attitude for all to see but Tiny. She really cares for him and is willing to do anything to keep him safe, even if it means her life.
