Fast, fun and light read. Liked the characters, but I think all the drama was exactly that: just some thrown together drama to go into a plot to get the story line somewhere in the end. Still. fluffy and cute read. ( )

From the start of this book I was drawn in by the amazing plot that had Cat doing everything in her power to show Shane that they were all wrong for each other. However, Shane had the patience of a saint and wasn’t about to give up on her. The dialogue was great, providing some laughs throughout which I believed was Cat’s way of keeping her distance. The sex scenes were steamy and full of passion because their attraction for each other had been between them for years. What I liked so much about Cat was her stubbornness, yet in the end it didn’t save her by making her be able to stay away from Shane like she thought. While with the hero, I loved how patient he was with Cat and that he wouldn’t give up on being with her. Then again, if you love someone you should never give up hope that in the end you’ll find a way to be with that person.

Ms. Bell has again proven herself to be a great writer with this second title in her Dare Me series. I would recommend this book, but first I suggest readers seek out the first in the series – Down for the Count – which is the story of Cat’s best friend and her brother, who are excellent secondary characters in this story.
