It's a great story! I would have given it better ratings if the foul language had been toned down more (or eliminated!). Meet Aeli--a woman with dreams, but she shoved them aside in order to escape a rather frightening past. She moved away from Seattle back home to Northstar with hopes of starting over.

Detective O'Neill has an unpleasant past of his own--one that he can't quite escape either, no matter how hard he tries to bury himself in his work. His boss forces him to take a working vacation away from Washington--his assignment is to safe guard his niece, Aeli. Meeting Aeli is a breath of fresh air for him.

Together they learn to embrace life one day at a time, knowing that the worst could happen at any given moment. (
