When I read the Prologue I was thinking wow what a Bitch Savanna was doing that to Tyler. Well I should have know that a boy only sees what he wants........he's a douchebag! As the story unfolds I began not to hate Tyler so much but rather feel sorry for him and hope that Savanna can see he for who he truly is. I was so angry about how everyone was so awful to Savanna after Tyler's accident especially his parents it seemed no one could see what really was going on. When Colt came to town and everything fell into place. It was torture not knowing how Colt and Savanna's relationship was going to play out once Tyler was back and just as I thought it was heart wrenching. Not that all that stuff wasn't enough then Colt has a tragedy that forces Savanna to quickly figure out exactly what she wants. It gets even more messed up for them as Colt has no idea how to deal with the tragedy and may lose Savanna. You will have to read it to find out if he does or not.
Hot Steamy Sex nothing to raunchy! The ending was good.

I got just beyond halfway through this and then I gave up and just read the last chapter and kind of skimmed over the rest.

It was badly written, and the characters were ridiculous.
I thought the story was good, and I really wanted to get into it because I liked the premise, but the writing just put me off. All these never ending sentences, and unnatural dialogue, I was cringing the whole time.

Van was pathetic and immature. She kept whining about everything and making herself out to be a martyr and a victim all the time. And she giggled during the one sex scene I read. I just couldn't get over it.

Colt. UGH. Major dislike. His character was all over the place, hot and cold all the time. First he's a player that thinks about hooking up with Sabrina, and then he gets offended and defensive when Van calls him out on it. And then he was constantly saying one thing and doing another. And the worst part is that he kept Tyler's cheating a secret. Just, NO.

Tyler was a jackass. Also, guys like that should not giggle. It's not cute. It takes a hell of a male character to be able to get away with giggling. He was not it.

I keep wondering if I maybe read something different than the rest of people, but I doubt it.

I feel so bad about this review.

I find myself on the fence about this book. I liked the basic storyline and I really think the book had a ton of potential but in the end I don't feel like it lived up to all the hype. With the reviews it received I really thought I would fall in love with it but I didn't.

The dialogue killed it for me throughout most of the book. There were so many instances in which I had to roll my eyes. It just wasn't realistic.

Also Ty's recovery from his coma, well I am not an expert but his recovery seemed a little miraculous to me. 6 to 7 months in a coma and he wakes up, goes home with in a week and then is walking and pretty much completely back to normal with in what two weeks? This is just not realistic.

Those things aside I have absolutely no idea how Ty is going to be redeemed in the 2nd book. I mean come on he was a complete a-hole. A cheating, lying, drunken jerk. At one point he even got scary physical with Van yet she still felt sorry for him. He just was not likable at all.

So if you can get past these things I think you might enjoy this book. Like I said it has a lot of potential and the story itself is good.
