patterns are included in the back of the book, but they require enlarging/copying at 200%. I eyeballed (drew by hand) the penguin pieces at 150% without too much difficulty and produced a cute, if slightly misshapen bird (pattern pieces must either be stitched together very carefully (as if by hand) or these do not reliably fit together. I can't decide if I want to bother making any more animals from this book, though the projects are certainly cute enough--I just don't have much of a purpose for them.
12/19 update: I attempted to sew up a hedgehog, but these pattern pieces are very strange--not fitting together well at all, as though they were not all made to the same scale. I have been sewing 3-dimensional stuffies for a while now and am baffled by this pattern. Demoting this book to one star. ( )
