But left with a number of almost A-HA moments. The closest A-HA moment was the reference to Gladwell's hockey player age discrimination. The book is a lot shorter than expected because it has many chapters devoted to the methodology behind their research. Wow! One of those books that gives you a true nuts and bolts explantion as to why some succeed, despite difficult circumstances, and what they do that allows them to succeed. Although this research come from the corporate world, it can be applied anywhere and, more important, it's something that's actually possible to achieve (not easy, but possible).I found it both helpful and inspirantional. п. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Many of his conclusions and the principles he discusses can be applied to many areas of life, and are not excluded solely to business. I suppose that that is why the word "business" does not appear on the cover. Because, although he examines and tests companies and businesses, the principles of success that he uncovers may be applied almost as easily to individuals, sports teams, military units, etc.
Good book. I enjoyed it. ( )
