I received this book as part of the Early Reviewer program and only just got around to reading it. I have read only about the first few chapters yet I felt the need to write a review. I find the story engrossing. Makes you want to keep reading it till the end. You just don't want to put it down. Am eager to see how the story ends. ( )

This book caught my attention right from the start. I liked how the author developed the characters. The descriptions of the emotions the characters were experiencing was perfect for me. I thought the the story line was well developed and kept me reading late into the night. It was hard to put my Kindle away because I wanted to know how the story would be resolved. I would definitely recommend this book to others. ( )

Connected is a thriller, par excellence! A young woman, having escaped her infamous, deadly, and abusive husband, has hidden safely for five years and begun a new life. A momentary act of bravery has "outed" her, despite her efforts to remain hidden. She deals with the police, the FBI, her husband's associates (gangsters), and her mother (also in hiding) trying to stay safe. The mix of personalities is fascinating; the characters well developed; the story line good. Granted, I expected a "happy ending" and more or less got it, but the road getting to it was a thrill ride. I recommend it, highly. ( )

I received this book in exchange for a review. It was really great. Dee is an ex-mob wife, who is in hiding from her husband. She stumbles upon one of his hit-men and thinks he is there for her. In trying to protect her new life, she prevents an assassination. Now her new found fame has put her back on the run, with the FBI trying to protect her. Sounds like a pretty basic story-line, but it was quite entertaining. Very enjoyable book. ( )

I loved it!. I was captivated. The turn of happenchance events that led to everything felt very believable, and I'm always a sucker for the romantic happy-ending.. ( )
