I literally never seen any of these comics before and found this book. As a book lover and librarian, this book is freaking hilarious. The book is filled with comic strips varying from dating, librarian life to book suggestions. The "beaver" is my favorite character and it bugs me because is he really a beaver or dressed up like one? Hmmmm...

How perfect - a comic strip that takes place in a library! I don't know about the others in the series, but this one at least has a coupla doz. Book Talk pages (in which the characters wittily make recommendations to us - see for example their take on Bryson's A Walk in the Woods). The only reason it's not five stars for me is that it's not lol funny. But I'm definitely seeking out the rest of the series. ( )

The fourth volume of the Unshelved comic strips. The art is so much more mature than it was at the beginning, and as always the strip stories are both funny and oddly on target.

I really liked the full page comic that was titled 'The Seven Stages of Falling In Love with an Author', it was hilarious and so, so right.

I also liked the series of comics when Dewey lost a day (a Wed.) and how he found how what he'd done on that day. Very funny. ( )
