Summary:
Busy Toes is a cute little contemporary fiction book. It is made for little children who are learning their body parts. Is talks about toes and all the different ways you can use them and also how they can feel. Your toes are always on the go and doing something. At the end, it shows them all snuggled up in bed and it says goodnight toes.

Personal Reaction:
This book is alright. It is definitely for little children, maybe preschool kids. But it is a cute way to show them how their toes work and feel.

Classroom Extension:
1. I would be talking about body parts and I would read this to them.
2. I would have them trace their foot on paper and color it.

Summary:
Busy toes is a book about different cultures and children. Busy toes show what children do with there toes, how they keep there toes busy. By with what they are doing with them, they draw, wiggle and some of the children even go fishing with their toes.

Classroom extensions:
1. See what your children in your class can do with their toes. Have them choose something they would like to do with them toes.
2. Put down some paper on the floor and have your children take their shoes off. They will dip,their toes in paint and paint with their toes.

Personal reaction.:
This story shows kids all the different cult rails there are. This story shows different cultural of children doing different things with their toes. This shows children that their are different cultural around the whole. When children are young they think they are weird just because they may have a different cultural then others.

Summary of Book:

Busy Toes is about toes and the diverse task of our toes. Our toes can be used to paint, fish and used to make shadows just to give a few examples. This book highlighted the fact that our toes are for more than just walking.

Personal Reaction to the Book:

The book is an awesome learning tool for learning about toes and stretching our toes limits through creativity.

Extension Ideas:

1. Outside Activity: Let each student remove their socks and shoes and paint a picture using only their toes.

2.Put on a short puppet show using the children’s toes as shadows.
