- The County Library is located behind the Square Shopping Centre opposite the Civic Theatre. It opened in December 1994. Its location at County Hall highlights its central role in the social and cultural life of the county.
It is a bright and spacious library with an adults' and a children's section as well as a seminar room and exhibition area.
The main part of South Dublin County's Local Studies section is housed at the County Library.
