- Books are available for loan to members of St Chad's College. Staff and postgrads at other colleges may enquire about reference use.
St Chad's College has eight named library rooms, all of which are located in Main College.
* The Reserve library holds books used on many undergrad modules, as well as DVDs. It is open when a member of library staff is on duty. Opening hours are displayed on the door.
* The Brewis, Wetherall, Fenton and Trounson rooms are open to members of college 24/7 throughout term time.
* The Williams Room is also open 24/7, though it is sometimes used for seminars, lectures and larger meetings.
