- Alliance Française d'Atlanta is an independent and non-profit organization, founded in 1912, serving the Atlanta community as the premier provider of French language and culture. With more than 1000 members served annually, it offers a variety of courses, social activities and cultural events. The Alliance Française d'Atlanta also maintains a library of French language materials with a collection of over 5000 books and journals.
Founded in Paris in 1883, Alliance Française is the largest network of French language and cultural centers in the world. There are 1,200 Alliance chapters established in 112 countries, including 140 chapters in the United States, serving 420,000 students.
