Bookcrossers and others...

Be sure to visit Kensington, Maryland, USA, for the International Day of the Book Festival on Sunday April, 25, 2010, from 11am to 4pm, rain or shine! It's located in the antiques district of Montgomery County.

It's great fun. It's free. See you there!

This will be the fourth year I've done this particular festival. It gets better every year!

Well worth it though. I had a wonderful time there in 2008

otakuu,

It was so great having you (all the way from New Zealand, no less!) with us at that festival two years ago. They didn't hold that festival last year, but this year's festival looks like fun. You *will indeed* be there with us in spirit.

In addition, we're invited to participate in another book festival this May in the nearby city of Gaithersburg, Maryland. We're collecting books to give away like mad.

Yesterday, our Bookcrossing group, BC in DC, had a meet-up to celebrate a "bon voyage" to crrcookie and melydia who are Bookcrossing convention bound to Amsterdam this week.

Now, I would have enjoyed that meetup too. I am sure that everyone will be as delighted to meet cookie and melydia as I was and that lots of people will see the DC Convention as the 'must do' event of 2011.

Hugs to you all
