Embarrassing Cartoons

I read Garfield for years, long after I should have known better. On the other hand, I was occasionally rewarded with something truly surreal involving accordions, mayonnaise, and leather chaps, or whatnot.

Any other fans or recovering fans of a comic that gets no respect?

Mutts. Beautiful, throwback artwork but the worst kind of cheesy, cutesy jokes in every day's strip. Every morning I stare and groan.

Brenda Starr. Worse strip ever, both in writing and art. And even with the terrible art, most of it is cut-and-paste. How it's survived since the 1940's, I'll never know.
