Learning Russian

Some weeks ago I started on the CD-R course "Learn RUSSIAN now!" from http://www.transparent.com

Anybody else studying Russian at home or/and at school???

I'm studying Russian at home, mostly for the purpose of reading. After 4 years, I can now read non-literary texts with some difficulty, mostly vocabulary related. It is my impression that after an initially steep learning curve, the relations between germanic and slavic languages are beginning to work in your advantage.
