St. Bart's - Not in the system?

As part of the Indiebound craziness I came across the clic Bookstore & Gallery system, which includes a location in Saint Barthélemy, aka St. Barts. An island that does not appear in the drop-down box for country. What am I supposed to do?

The map points to France, even though it's in the Caribbean.

EDIT: If I remove "Saint Barthélemy" it will point to Gustavia, at least, but I'd like to include the country.

Saint Barthélemy is one of those places that doesn't fit neatly into the street/town/(state)/country mould of addresses. It isn't technically a separate country, and until a couple of years ago was simply part of France. It now has a status which I suspect is uniquely French, that of an 'overseas collectivity'.

What happens if you put 'France' as the country, leaving Gustavia as the city ?

A lot of places that aren't technically separate countries still have a separate entry in the drop down box, including:

Aland Islands
American Samoa
Ascension Island
British Indian Ocean Territory
Diego Garcia (which is separate from above, WTH)
Falkland Islands
Wallis and Futuna

The list goes on.

Putting "France" in as the country drops the map in France.

You have a point. But it may be that putting the island in the drop-down box won't solve the problem if the map provider doesn't know how to interpret what it's given. And all we can tell at present is that it understands "Gustavia" alone, perhaps because it's a unique placename?

You would be right on that last point, as Google Maps can make do with the sketchiest of place names. I just hate the way the data looks on the entry without a country.
