I know that for many or most of their "Best of (author)" series in the 1970s, the SFBC was the true first edition, coming out slightly before the Ballantine paperback edition.
And there was at least one C.J.Cherryh novel which had a SFBC first edition. (Anybody recall which one?)
Does anyone know of any other books that were first published by the SFBC?
