This is a fun online game with *no* prizes.

Here you go:

FIND THE MAN IN THE COFFEE BEANS

Did your coffee help you with this game?

Game info sent to me said:

This is bizarre -- after you find the guy -- it's so obvious. Once you find him -- it's embarrassing, and you think, Why didn't I see him immediately?

Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in the coffee beans in 3 seconds, the right half of your brain is better developed than most people. If you find the man between 3 seconds and 1 minute, the right half of the brain is developed normally. If you find the man between 1 minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein. If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, the advice is to look for more of this type of exercise to make that part of the brain stronger!!!

And, yes, the man is really there!!!

Ok, I'll be the first to admit - I didn't find the man. I have a cold, so I'll be sure to use that as my excuse.

I found a stick figure immediately and a face or two, but I'm reading this to mean I should find a very easily-identifiable man.

What did you find??

>3 vintage_books:: I'm not sure between your Post #2 and #3 if you found him. He's not a stick figure...he's unmistakably a man.

I found him after a few seconds.

>2 vintage_books:

What does it mean if it took 1-3 minutes to find your glasses so that you could actually see to even look for the man? ;)

>Message 4: TadAD

I clarified that msg #2 came with the game and msg #3 is from me.

I'm just a loser. I never found him than. Maybe I need more coffee. And loriephillips glasses.

>6 vintage_books:: That just means you have huge left-brain activity!

>2 vintage_books: V_B: Tad and I have better right brain development. Found in 3 seconds flat! But what does it mean? I would be intrigued to know.

There is a bean there that looks very much like a toe, you're right.

Gen 7, 2009, 10:55 am

I see the toe too! It kinda looks like it belongs to a cadaver though. Ewww!

I found the man really quickly, but I don't see the toe. Maybe it's mind control -- I'm not really sure I WANT to find a toe in my coffee....

I found the toe immediately, after reading that it was there. The man took some time--I think I was distracted by a horror-movie type man/bean that I found at once which kept pulling me in.

>10 jdthloue: I see dung beetles or worse - brains! Where is the toe?

I'll never drink coffee again! :)

The toe is about 1 1/2 - 2 inches to the right of the head. I can't find dung beetles, I don't know what they look like!

Gen 8, 2009, 2:42 pm

Can't you just see the industrial accident that put the toe in the beans?

I'm glad I don't drink coffee.

>16 loriephillips: Funny! The toe I found was about midway up the left hand edge. Maybe there is a whole foot in these beans....

Gen 8, 2009, 3:45 pm

Oh...there are two toes!

> 16 & 18 Oh No! Now I am seeing all kinds of body parts in there - I can see ears as well as toes! There has definately been some kind of carnage taking place at the processing plant. Someone got caught in the machinery and ended up in bits and pieces among the beans!

Oh no! I looked again and I can see a finger tip, lower right edge. The finger nail is pointing this way.

Rooibos Tea never looked more inviting!

Ok, I'll admit it. I couldn't find the man yesterday and so went online for tips. Found him in about half a second; I just didn't know what I was looking for.

I think the finger tip on the lower right belongs to the man. :)

>21 vintage_books: I just didn't know what I was looking for.

That was my excuse too! I thought I was looking for a whole man, not a random collection of body parts ;)

OH!!! I just tried again and found him right away. Weird. Not what I was expecting. I was trying to do that "fuzzy-eyed" 3D kind of puzzle that you sometimes find in the Sunday papers. No wonder!

I found him pretty quickly, but at first, I was looking for a man shaped with coffee beans - not an actual man. So that's where the trickiness comes in.

Definately under 30 seconds, but not under 3! Actually, I can find a 'face' in almost every surface (woodgrain, tiles, fabric patterns, carpeting, you name it). What does THAT say about me??
