Alanna's 25th Anniversary

Admittedly, it was yesterday, but I thought you guys might want to know: September 9th was the 25th anniversary of the copyright on Alanna: The First Adventure.

I know that these books meant the world to me when I was a kid, and I still read them often.

Anybody else have fond memories?

Wow, now I feel even worse that it took me this long to discover Pierce's books. I've always seen them (I work in the kids/ya section of a bookstore) but I had just never thought to take one home-if I ever see the customer who told me I was crazy when I admitted to never having read a Tamora Pierce book, I'll give her a big bear hug=)

I'm glad someone told me about this site, its great to see so many Pierce fans in one place!

Oh my! I actually can't remember when I first "discovered" them. I honestly feel like I've always known these friends.

But now that you have read them, jfoster, your life is complete. ;-p
