Why do you think CP has not published any weird fiction by August Derleth? Do you think it is an oversight, de-prioritization relative to other authors, or perhaps due to S.T. Joshi's apparent antipathy toward him?

Guessing only, I would say some combination of your second and third theories, with perhaps an issue of rights with the Derleth estate. If you’ll notice, there has been no Robert E Howard either; whom Joshi is also famously not a fan of and has significant rights issues involved.

>2 HowardEriksonWolfe: Good points. I know why Joshi is not a fan of Derleth, but I'll have to look into why he is also not a fan of Robert E. Howard, either.

>3 ultrarightist: REH is public domain in the UK, which helps explain why Wandering Star released beautiful editions of his works, and they are absolutely worth finding. Here is a review I wrote for Chris Adamson on his wonderful website
https://booksandvines.com/2011/12/01/the-savage-tales-of-solomon-kane-robert-e-h...
Here in the USA, apparently the copyright expires in 2028.

>2 HowardEriksonWolfe: I do believe we'll get REH from Centipede at some point. This was from a newsletter back in 2017:

'Two ideas here: a Robert E. Howard volume in the “Masters of the Weird Tale” series. And…
A large oversize book called “Artists Inspired by Robert E. Howard.” Would either of these be of interest? The Howard art book would be like the book Artists Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft.'

I would dearly love to see both of those come to fruition as Howard is an all time favorite for me. As much as I love the Wandering Star books, I’d like to see CP take a crack at the entire Howard catalog of S&S and horror fiction.

>6 HowardEriksonWolfe: I'm the opposite. I'd rather CP work on "lesser known" and/or "harder to find" works. Anything by REH has been published and republished in beautiful illustrated editions. Frankly, unless Jerad decides to go letterpress, I don't foresee the CP edition being in any way better or more appealing than the classic Grant books and Wandering Star publications.
