Better visibility of author CK

To start off, thank you again for the beautiful, beautiful charts we now have for looking at the author information in our own libraries. Especially that map! It's wonderful. But it makes me realize how many gaps I have in my reading - so few authors from, say, Eastern Europe. Or Central Asia. How to fill those? I can drill deep into the Author CK edit history to find when people have marked an author as being from Mongolia or Bulgaria, and click into author after author to find one that looks interesting. Or I can search tags and hope to find one where the author is actually from there, rather than a history of the place or a novel about the place written by a non-native.

Wouldn't it be great if we could instead have that CK search, or some other method (the UI is less important to me than the functionality) return a list of authors, maybe sorted by total number of copies? Who's the most popular Mongolian author on LT? We can't answer that question today, not without a lot of manual clicking around. But the answer is there!

Yep, we need more methods to play with (or at least see) the overall server data (as long as it is filterable per genre so you do not end up with just histories for example?). LT has a lot of data and it can make up for a lot of interesting lists and what's not...

Bump! Hopefully once LT2 is done there will be some space for improvements like this.

This is something that I'd like to see. So we aren't ignoring it. Just quite busy with other big projects at the moment.
