Do you work in a museum?

Well, I work FOR a museum, as a freelance-curator.

I'm making an exhibition that's called MADE IN CHINA for the Historical Museum of Arnhem, in the Netherlands. It's the fourth exhibition I'm working on for that museum, the others were about a female painter called Lizzy Ansingh, about Dutch ceramics and one about "Arnhemse Meisjes" (cookies named after girls from the city of Arnhem, see also the cookingbook by Roald Dahl).

As you have probably guessed I'm an art historian.

I work for the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage (ICN), we keep the artcollection of The Netherlands. Our objects are on loan to museums all over the country, but also in offices and even in embassies abroad! But you might know all this...
