I'm being offered the list of 51 Franklin Library books in unread conditions for a 1000,- euros. I'm tempted but honestly, I can only see myself reading 20 of these.

How easy or hard would it be to move the remainder in Europe to recoup some of my cost? I've marked the books I'd want to keep with an asterix.

I’m in America and don’t know the European market for Franklins, but these are common issues that would likely be hard to sell because of the competition. You can check eBay and abe.com for current asking prices. Keep in mind that both these services charge fees and that postal rates can be high.

If I were you (which of course I am not), I would search only for the 20 books you really want both to save money and to save bookshelf space. If you continue with you book collecting, you will run out of space sooner than you think!

We managed to come to an agreement to buy only the books I'm interested in. They turned out to be quarter-bound which is a bit unfortunate but at the end of the day, I paid little more than paperback prices for very fine books so I'm well satisfied.
