What do you think happened to the body that disappeared? Why?

I think somebody removed the body as they didn't want anyone to know who he was.

I agree with >2 EadieB:. I think he was sent by someone to find something and he failed.

The body was removed so it couldn’t be traced back to whomever killed or had Ross killed. There was obviously something that Ross had in his possession that the killer needed - enough to send someone to search the rooms that night.
