Scholastic is offering free "Learn at Home" ebooks and videos, for (USA-based) pre-k through ninth grade.

PBS Kids continues to offer free games and videos designed for students in the lower grade levels.

Museums and zoos are providing virtual tours. I'll add links when I find them again. (Our home internet is too slow for most tours.)

Open Library lends out digitized books, which can be especially useful for research projects.

Of course, there's also Project Gutenberg for out-of-copyright works.

Mission 31 was an underwater project involving aquanaut Jacques Cousteau's grandson, Fabien Cousteau. I just now learned of this 2014 project and have been looking at how to make it into oceanography and engineering lessons. Thirty videos of the 30 days the scientific team spent living within the ocean are available on YouTube (linked below). Each one can be an introduction to new topics.

Homeschoolers of young children in the USA: Look for an eRead Kids offering at your public library. This is an ebook loan service that's often offered in addition to the library's general ebook collection.
