Does there have the feeling of a thawing out between Willow and Jimmy? Any further thoughts about what is going to happen between them?

Yes, they have to thaw out since they work together but I don't see a permanent relationship happening with them.

I believe that Jimmy will probably come to some type of compromise with Willow..but I don't see them getting married or moving in together. Jimmy isn't the type to ignore his obligations and right now I think he sees Willow as as an obligation that needs to be addressed.

I think they will get together in the end. The Jimmy we've come to know over the last seven books is not a guy who would walk out on a woman he cares for and their baby. I simply refuse to believe he could do it.

I hope >4 Olivermagnus: is right. They've definitely thawed out a bit. Jimmy had a few thoughts about his child and being his/her father so he's starting to address the situation. At the very least, I think they'll be friends and Jimmy will be involved with the child but I really hope they actually make a go of a relationship.

I think the initial shock for Jimmy is wearing off and he can now look at things coolly.
I've believed from the beginning that these two have genuine attraction and affection for each other. I think they can, and should, make a go of it. I think Cassie's father should be a man and step up to the responsibilities this entails. I think Jimmy will be quite up to a move to mainland Scotland, and at last, Fran can be left to rest in peace.
