I'm toying with the idea of working with some more risque photographers. I've been an artist's model in the past and I'm finding a little work now. This, however, would be a step beyond the norm for me. I still have my limits, but I'm pushing them (but just a little). Anybody have any life experience to share?

Not neccessarily in that particular field, but I can say this: Imagine where you would be if you never pushed the limits of what you can do, especially in this one area. Can you live with yourself if you never go there? If not, do it. If so, find something else that will take you where you want to go.

btw, that is how I ended up in Alaska, so be careful.

Oh, how funny! I was reading the original post and thinking "Hey, that sounds like me!"

I read your first post in this thread about six months ago and could not add to what Arctic-Stranger said. Although I have lots of life experience but none that seemed relevant. I am a little sorry to say that for the first time I let my “better judgment” win and I backed out of getting this cookbook for my wife’s birthday. InterCourses Whatever you decided to do I am sure it was a good decision at the time. Photos are a lot different from drawings or paintings and everyone’s definition of risqué is different. Have a great New Year.

If it were something like InterCourse, I would definitely do it. I love that book!

It seams people usually regret the things they did not do rather then the things they did do. And honestly don’t you admire the people who dare to do things. People who suddenly surprise there friends with the unexpected. People who dare parachuting or dare flashing the boobs in the pub. I have some experiences in doing the unexpected. It’s like 10 years ago and I still remember the feeling. Don’t regret it a minute! Go for it is all I can say!

Years ago I used to write and draw graphic novels. I also did a couple of "adult" comic books. I could keep those hidden from friends, family, and co-workers.
Now I've decided to step outside my comfort zone and publish a webcomic with some "racy" themes. All my co-workers and friends can see it.
I guess what I'm saying is, what the heck, if you want to do it, and it looks legitimate, maybe it's time to take that step.
